Rath Yatra 2023: Drones have been used by surveillance to take special care of security in the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath. Tether drones are being used for the first time in the Rath Yatra. In which high-resolution cameras are fitted. This high-tech drone is capable of flying in the air for more than 10 hours. This drone can reach a height of 120 meters. Also, photographs and videos can be taken better within a range of 3 km. This drone will continuously monitor the Rath Yatra. Drones will monitor the arrival of the chariots at different times at 6 points along the route of the Rath Yatra.
Along with this, a mobile CCTV control vehicle has also been made. which will run between the arena and the truck. This year, CCTV, Bodeone cameras, and drones will be used more. More than 250 women were met by DCPs and ACPs.
